My mom Bee has been a licorice lover for many years. Bee is now 96 and will be 97 in November..She has partial dentures so the hard candy is not only delicious but the perfect answer. I have to watch her though as she would go through a bag in a couple days if I let her. I'm not sure what would happen if machine washed, but, I figure, why tempt fate?
